A viral marketing technique. Buzz is when consumers interact with a product or service, resulting in amplifying the conversation around it, and often changes the original message as people talk about it in their own terms. Brands can maximize the word-of-mouth potential of a product, service or campaign, by getting people to talk about it with emotion, excitement or anticipation, to increase awareness and traffic, which in turn impacts sales and profit.
