2009 brandcameo Product Placement Awards

Film Whore Award
Which film sold the most of its soul to accommodate product placement(s)?

Sell out. Capitalist pig. Crass commercialist. Some films grant product placements appropriate roles, but others value product placement more than scene essentials such as plot, characters and aesthetics—all to make a buck. Which of the following nominees shamelessly pimped out products at the expense of artistic integrity?

Fast & Furious 8.88%
Beverly Hills Chihuahua 6.66%
Quantum of Solace 15.5%
He’s Just Not That Into You 3.33%
Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen 64.4%

8.88% voted for Fast & Furious

i know it's a car film but too many cars!

One big car commercial. Ugh.

6.66% voted for Beverly Hills Chihuahua

even just the name is selling its spirit. it could be atlanta chihuahua but it wasnt

15.5% voted for Quantum of Solace

Why not? No-one takes it seriously anyway.

Bond is slipping and associating the man with product placements doesn't make him any more suave or sexy. It's comes off as contrived and desperate.

3.33% voted for He’s Just Not That Into You

Was just not that into all of the brands in this movie.

blink and you'll miss 5 brands in a scene

64.4% voted for Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen

Cheap excecutions

I honestly thought that the Camaro was there for a reason, like maybe the 'evil robots' would later in the film want to destroy earth starting from Chevi's factory or something.......

The movie wouldn't exist without them.

The only thing overlooked was a condom brand tatoo on Megan Fox.

cisco

This movie sold it's soul long before the product placement deal was made.

this movie sold out in too many ways to count.
