* The Kardashians are also in NYC this week pitching their K-Dash line for QVC to fashionistas, while real designers ply their wares, goody bags, sex toys?

* The memorably-named Acne denim brand, meanwhile, is launching a line seemingly targeted at transvestites and cross-dressers.

Does Branding Matter For Gasoline?

In Connecticut, 65 gas stations, mainly Getty, are becoming BP branded, the largest such conversion ever in the state. Meanwhile, one guy in Tennessee is "the owner of the last remaining Exxon station in Kingsport."

Do gasoline brands even matter?

In many countries, gasoline brands do enjoy high customer loyalty. The annual Sunday Times Top Brands survey just named BP as South African consumers’ favorite fuel brand for the ninth consecutive year. But in America, not so much -- unless you are an old-timer.Continue reading...
