The Brandery is Looking for a Few Good Tech Startups

Last year we brought you news about The Brandery, a Cincinnati-based consumer marketing "accelerator" that welcomed its first class of high-tech startups in September and showcased their efforts in November.

It's now inviting the second class of startups to apply for a $20,000 grant, which includes mentoring, and some of the best minds in brand marketing and positioning helping the startups figure out their consumer marketing and product development.

Applications for the 12-week program will be accepted through June 1, and five qualifying companies will be selected to start the program on August 1.

The Brandery Debuts First Six Innovators

Back in August we brought you the story of The Brandery, a consumer marketing "accelerator" created by some P&G digital marketing veterans including Dave Knox. We invited Dave to keep in touch with us as the project got rolling.

True to his word, he tells us that tomorrow (Thursday) is Demo Day for the first class of six start-ups in the consumer marketing seed accelerator program.

Fellow entrepreneurs, investors and venture capitalists will be in attendance in Cincinnati, and the rest of us can join virtually on Ustream from 9 AM till 12 PM EST.Continue reading...
