Finally! Those pre-preview, pre-movie advertising "shows" may become more entertaining — to moviegoers and brands alike.
Musician and producer Timbaland has joined forces with Screenvision to improve the quality of its theater preshows starting in September. It’s a slam dunk marketing move, as movie fans are a captive audience ... one that brand marketers can now more easily captivate.
The company sells and programs in-cinema ad opportunities to local, regional and national advertisers interested in engaging some 45 million moviegoers weekly in their brands. This week, Screenvision is unveiling a redesigned 20-minute preshow or “advertainment” block for marketers that skews more towards sponsored entertainment and celebrities.Continue reading...
