Amy Winehouse To Collaborate With Fred Perry On Clothing Designs

The notorious rocker whose bird’s nest hair and husky voice inspired Lagerfeld’s 2007 Chanel line has moved to heritage sportswear label, Fred Perry. Amy Winehouse is designing an autumn line for the very brand whose iconic polo shirts she often sports.

The Fred Perry brand, spanning five decades, and most often associated with sports stars, mods, and rude lads, is collaborating with the soul singer on a 17-piece collection for women to be released next autumn. Winehouse has inked a four-season deal.

Regularly seen in the firm's iconic polo shirts, Winehouse will design jumper dresses, girlish twinsets, slim pencil skirts, Capri pants, and her variation on the Perry polo, inspired by her own, unique 1950’s style.Continue reading...
