P&G: Mom's the Word

Posted by Shirley Brady on May 6, 2010 03:05 PM

P&G today revives its "Procter & Gamble: Proud Sponsor of Moms" campaign with its 2010 Thank You Mom promotion tied to Mother's Day in the US. (Not a global holiday, by the way - the UK's Mothering Sunday fell on March 14th this year).

This year's "Thank You Mom Reunions" contest aims to bring together 100 moms and their kids, and follows on the "Proud Sponsor of Moms" campaign that P&G launched during the 2010 Olympic and Paralympic Winter Games.

In that promotion, P&G helped more than 250 Team USA moms defray the costs of getting to Vancouver to see their children compete. Enjoy its latest ode to moms, above; and click through to check out its Olympics spot.

Jatin Rai India says:

I'd say that Huggies has stolen the show this time. This Mothers Day, Kimberley Clark is sponsoring the seed money for enterprising moms. This is a far better way of engaging customers than Pampers' "Thank you Mom" promotion.
