White House energy adviser Carol Browner, speaking on Sunday's Meet the Press on NBC, said the Gulf of Mexico oil leak is "probably the biggest environmental disaster we've ever faced in this country." She added that the US was "prepared for the worst scenario" that the leak might not be stopped before August, with BP's failed Top Kill operations being replaced by robots.
