Madonna's new Material Girl teen fashion line for Macy's, a tribute to her early 80's heyday, is ramping up marketing ahead of its August debut. Daughter Lola, collaborating with mom, also started a blog to discuss her fashion influences. Madonna fan Britney Spears is also launching her own fashion line.

Damn - that's hot! Okay here we have the fashion fusion of the 80's meets new millennial's - which is cool. However, looking into fashion trends I think that Madonna might have missed the mark on this one. The fashion style won't stay around too much longer for the trending fashion cities like LA and NY - but no worries for Madonna, I'm pretty sure that many mid-western states are more than excited to see the line featured at Macy's. In fact, many of my family members might be rocking the style next time I go back home to Texas!

If I were Madonna I would have focused more on distributing her line inside Target instead! Good luck to the material girl Smile

The question is: Will Lola revamp the Material Girl look that her Momma made famous umpteen millions years ago? Is that look relevant now? Hey, I thoroughly support and admire anyone who wants to take the world, head on. When I was Lola’s age, all I could think about was smoking pot and laying in the middle of my school football field, watching the stars come out at night, amazed. And I thought that was being major productive. Well, I had finished my homework.
