Barneys New York creative director Simon Doonan invited celebrity chefs Rachael Ray, Bobby Flay, Jamie Oliver and other professional foodies to help kick off the retail brand's food-themed holiday windows this year, in a bid "to prove that fashion and food are not exclusive."
Doonan worked with the illy coffee brand to create Miss Illy, the centerpiece of the retailer's flagship Madison Avenue holiday 2010 window display:
The windows feature Doonan's favorite visual element to the Barneys brand: disco balls —
Doonan also lent his visual flair to the White House holiday decorations, including 19 Christmas trees, that will be viewed by more than 100,000 visitors this holiday season:
