The Walmart/Gas story is an interesting one and an approach I can see others taking. This morning a UK retailer is getting criticised for offering gas/petrol discounts only when you purchase 4 Cans of Tuna and 30 cans of Coke, its got a negative reaction, but I think the card scheme may be more welcomed.
