Celebrating the upcoming release of Star Wars: The Complete Saga on Blu-ray, George Lucas via his Lucasfilm studio is collaborating with the non-profit Stand Up To Cancer (SU2C) on the aptly titled "Use The Force For Good." Of course, "good" means driving donations to the Stand Up To Cancer website, where all proceeds go to cancer research.
Any celebrities promoting this? Only Aziz Ansari, Zach Galifianakis, Bill Hader, Ed Helms, Ken Jeong, Jaime King, Seth Rogen, Andy Samberg, Emma Stone and even Star Wars alum Samuel L. Jackson. In the video, they each "Use the Force for Good" as they reenact classic Star Wars scenes to raise awareness, and funds, for cancer research.
Stand Up To Cancer assembles a stellar "force" of its own: “Dream Teams” of scientists, clinicians, technicians and other specialists who pool their expertise to tackle a specific cancer problem. SU2C tracks their progress in real time, an engaging, transparent element that allows donors to see how their participation is helping create real change.
Funds will be administered by the American Association for Cancer Research, the largest scientific organization in the world focusing on every aspect of high-quality, innovative cancer research. Together with their scientific Blue Ribbon Advisory Committee, comprised of world-class scientists across several disciplines and patient advocates, the most promising projects will be identified.

SU2C is also selling exclusive t-shirts to benefit the cause:

There is also (shades of the Michael J. Fox Back to the Future Nike MAG team-up) a Star Wars eBay Charity Auction. eBay will "use the Force" of its 97 million active members to give fans an online destination for browsing unique and special Star Wars items: just go to ebay.com/usetheforceforgood.
Bidders can vie for rare and exclusive items like a one-of-a-kind Star Wars edition 2012 Volkswagen Passat and a once-in-a-lifetime experience: dinner with Lucas himself, plus fellow film gods Chris Columbus, Francis Ford Coppola, Philip Kaufman and John Lasseter. All charity auctions begin today, September 16th, at 4:00 p.m. PDT, and continue until 4:00 p.m. PDT on September 23rd.
It's great to see celebrities banding together for a worthy cause, one that lets fans parlay their love for beloved classics into good works helping those in need today.
