Gwen Stefani's Harajuku Mini Kids Collection Launches at Target

Posted by Shirley Brady on November 14, 2011 10:31 AM

Harajuku Mini, Gwen Stefani's highly-anticipated kids' clothing collection for Target, is now available in-store at select Target locations. With prices below $29.99, part one hit stores on Nov. 13, while part two of the affordable chic kids' collection — aimed at toddlers, boys and girls and tween girls — will launch on Dec. 25th.

“I’ve always been inspired by the cool children’s clothing in Japan, but it was always so hard for me to find it here,” said Stefani (who got a shout-out from her No Doubt bandmates on Twitter) in a press release. “That’s why I am so excited to partner with Target because I’m able to create something inspired by that look but that’s easy to find and affordable. Now all the moms can get their hands on it!”

The collection includes more than 80 exclusive fashion items and accessories, all inspired by her Japanese back-up dancers/singers, the Harajuku Girls, whose fashion sense inspired Stefani's Harajuku Lovers perfume and accessories and a song. Available in sizes from six months to 16 years, Target's apparel and accessories prices range from $3.99 to $29.99.

“Harajuku Mini is an affordable line of clothing and accessories that captures Gwen’s vision as a preeminent fashion designer,” said Trish Adams, senior vice president of apparel and accessories, Target. “Her playful take on kids’ fashion is sure to resonate with Target’s guests, especially those searching for the perfect holiday gift.”
