Brisk officially launched its Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D cross-marketing today: a mobile app (dubbed Brisksaber and actively teased on its Facebook page) and a limited-edition drink featuring Star Wars villain Darth Maul, as promoted with a new commercial, above. The Brisksaber app, which can be downloaded at uncaptheapp.com, invites fans to "Turn your finger into a lightsaber!" Continuing its longstanding relationship with Lucasfilm and the Star Wars franchise, Brisk is introducing the limited-edition product packaging and sizing to tie into the movie's release. Darth Maul, a Sith warrior known for wielding a double-ended lightsaber, is taking over Brisk Raspberry Iced Tea 24-oz. cans and one-liter bottles. The limited-time Brisk Raspberry Iced Tea Darth Maul packaging will drive consumers to the Brisksaber mobile app.
Brisk Raspberry Iced Tea Darth Maul bottles — along with Iced Tea with Lemon, Sweet Tea, Tea Lemonade, Green Tea Peach, Strawberry Melon, Lemonade, Pink Lemonade and Fruit Punch — will have under-the-cap codes that allow fans to collectively unlock new characters, lightsabers and objects when they play Brisksaber. The Uncap the App promotion and limited-time Darth Maul packaging are available until April 30th.
New multi-serve one-gallon jugs will also be unveiled to offer more value for Brisk drinkers in four flavors: Iced Tea with Raspberry, Tea Lemonade Fusion, White Tea Pink Lemonade Fusion and Strawberry Melon Juice Drink. Star Wars Episode 1: The Phantom Menace in 3D hits theaters on Feb. 10th.
