Increased competition has been a breath of fresh air for users in Pakistan, as they enjoy more value added services, greater coverage, increased connectivity and better rates. It should be interesting to see how Zong fairs on the local array of brands. One wonders whether they've revamped Paktel, and adopted the standard, GSM mode of mobile communication. Regardless, this should be an interesting experiment (and experience), for both, Pakistani users, as well as China Mobile.
