Dermot Boden, the global chief marketing officer of LG, taped the above spot to remind folks to participate in YouTube’s landmark Life in a Day project, and explain why the partnership is a great fit with the LG brand.
On one day only — this coming Saturday, July 24th — anyone can shoot and upload a video to YouTube to participate in one of the biggest user-generated projects from the Google-owned site. The “most compelling and distinctive footage” will make it into a documentary that will premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in January and be executive produced by Ridley Scott and directed by Kevin Macdonald.
