Using video imaging to deliver a 360-degree view, models display fit and movement in various silhouettes, as the app offers alternative styling suggestions and specifics on the cut of each pant, including details on the rise (high, mid or low), fit (regular or slim) and leg (skinny, boot or straight).
For summer 2011, the focus is on 6 styles for men and 5 styles for women, and coming in the fall, will expand to include the full Hilfiger Denim Collection.
The app launched in four languages: English, French, Spanish, and Dutch.
This follows the May launch of Hilfiger’s augmented reality-powered preppy fitting room promoting its spring/summer limited-edition Prep World collection, enabling users to superimpose clothing from the collection using a mobile phone’s camera.
