We have already taken a long look at the extensive official merchandise from the phenomenal film The Hunger Games. Now, a look at a few things that fans can pick up that do not bear the stamp of approval from Lionsgate, Scholastic or any other Hunger Games copyright holder. To Etsy we go!
First up (above): The Hunger Games Capitol Serving Platter ($35) Serve up some delicious nosh during your next Reaping watch party![more]
Below, The Hunger Games Hand-Painted Vans ($80) For carving up the Capitol’s parks before the peacekeepers get there?
Arrow & Moss Necklace – Hunger Games Inspired Pendant with Glass Vial and Cork ($25) Speaking of “peacekeepers,” it would probably be a good idea not to wear these around authorities outside Panem:
One Hunger Games Book Charm ($4) These small charms of the trilogy are not that remarkable, but bravo to the Etsy seller for the staging. At Katniss herself learned, part of the game is selling yourself.
And if there’s any doubt about a crossover line being popular, check out this video of a girl who’s already dressing her American Girl dolls as Hunger Games characters.
Hunger Games Inspired Mockingjay Hard Case Cover Style B – iPhone ($8) For when you need to call your sponsor for a parachute.

Your own Hunger Games domain!
That’s right, you can set up your unofficial fan site on one of a couple domain names taken from central story characters. First, there is Mellark.com, which you can “buy it now!” on eBay for $5,000. More attractive? Jsut snapped up: Katniss.com, which was up for auction at GoDaddy for $10,000, or 0.00645 percent of the film’s opening weekend box office take.
