5 Questions with Airbus


Airbus – the aerospace pioneer and manufacturer – have spent the best part of the last 40 years growing to become one of the world’s top two commercial aircraft manufacturers, alongside Boeing. The Airbus A380 alone has already flown over 190 million passengers, and it’s highly likely that you’ve already coasted in one of their jets.

Holger Schubert, Head of Brand Management at Airbus, spoke to Interbrand about how his efforts in unifying the complex and diversified organisation into one strong brand helped Airbus go from strength to strength.

Schubert discussed the importance of proper brand management with a common language, methodologies and a purpose framework that help to use the brand as a lever to give direction, be responsive and connect business, employees and society.
